Our Story
Two Wet Bees was founded on a simple conviction: that the best independent films deserve the widest possible audience. We work with filmmakers and rights holders to place their work on the platforms, screens, and services where it belongs, without the overhead of a traditional distributor.
We operate as a lean, filmmaker first company. That means faster deal cycles, transparent terms, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to make a film worth licensing. Every title in our catalog has been selected because we believe in it.
Since our founding, we've placed titles across TVOD, SVOD, AVOD, and regional distribution channels in more than forty countries. Our relationships span major streaming platforms, broadcast networks, and independent distributors on every continent.
Our Slate
We represent a curated catalog of feature films, documentaries, and short form work across drama, thriller, documentary, crime, horror, romance, adventure, and science fiction. Our titles are available for licensing across all major deal types and territories from global SVOD to regional theatrical.
The Team
We're a small team of film industry veterans with backgrounds in acquisitions, distribution, and rights management. We work directly with every buyer and filmmaker no account managers, no middlemen.

Founder & Head of Worldwide SALES
Fifteen years in independent film acquisitions, previously at Magnolia Pictures and Mubi. Elise oversees all title selection and filmmaker relationships.
Jack STRANGEWAYS
Head of ACQUISITIONS
Jack Strangeways is Head of Acquisitions. He previously served as a studio executive at CBS Television, working directly under legendary programmer Fred Silverman during the network’s transformative 1970s era. That background in network programming, content strategy, and audience evaluation informs his current acquisitions work. In addition to his corporate role, Strangeways is a published science fiction author whose work explores speculative futures and cultural systems.

Specializes in international rights clearance and contract structuring. Michael ensures every deal is clean, compliant, and closed on time.
